Welcome to Dr Mkhize Foundation

Our Mission

At the heart of the Dr Mkhize Foundation is the belief that every individual. Regardless of their background, deserves access to education, healthcare and basic necessities. The Foundations' mission is to empower and uplift South Africa's youth by mitigating the socioeconomic gap, improving access to quality education and reducing substance abuse. The Foundation seeks to provide young individuals with the tools, support and opportunities needed to break the cycles of poverty and disadvantage. Thereby fostering a generation of educated, healthy and self-reliant leaders.

To create a future where every child and young adult in South Africa, regardless of background, has the resources and support they need to achieve their fullest potential and contribute to a more equitable society.

Dr Mkhize Foundation

Empowering the next generation

Dr Mdumiseni Mkhize is an inspiring young medical doctor whose journey reflects resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to giving back. Having grown up in a disadvantaged community in KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Mkhize overcame significant challenges to achieve success in and outside of the medical field. Motivated by a passion for uplifting others, he aims to establish a foundation dedicated to empowering South African youth and children.
